Joanie passed away peacefully surrounded by her family.
She will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 35 years David, daughters Claire and Emily, and son-in-law Nathan. Supportive sister to Kate, Gavin, and the late Ailene. Sister in law to Sylvia and June, beloved Aunt to many nieces and nephews abroad.
Joanie had a contagious smile, vivacious laugh, and magnetic personality.
She believed strongly in the power of connection and in always saying, “I love you” to those she cared for.
Donations can be made in honour of Joanie, to the Canadian Cancer Society.
