Joan L MacIntyre December 12 1931 December 12 2020

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Joan MacIntyre on December 12, 2020. Joan passed away peacefully at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie after being diagnosed with cancer. Daughter of Herb and Freda Taylor and dear sister of Gord Taylor (Kathy). Joan married Bruce Macoomb and together they had 3 children; Robin (Guy), Paul (Karen) and Glenn. She was grandmother to Daniel, Stephanie, and Diana and great-grandmother to Lucas, Hailey and Bryn. Joan then married Darcy MacIntyre and became step-mother to Sandra, Brenda, Candi and Tim. She was an elegant woman of style and substance. Joan always kept lines of communication open and lived life on her terms. She had profound love of Georgian Bay, where her cottage was and golden retrievers. She was an avid dart player and a member of the ANAF Club in Barrie. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held in Spring 2021 at Innisvale Cemetery. Memorial donations to Golden Retriever Rescue (goldenrescue.ca) or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Messages of condolence may be forward to the family through adamsfuneralhome.ca
