Obituary of Jo Anne Colford
The passing of JoAnne Colford of Tay Creek, NB, wife of Ronnie Colford, occurred on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on April 24, 1968 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Loraine (Gourley) Logan. JoAnne worked as an Administrative Assistant at Renaissance College, UNB Fredericton. She was a dedicated member of the Stanley Fire Department and an active member of various organizations in the Stanley area.
JoAnne is survived by her children, Angela Colford, Cody Colford (Courtney) and Dakota Colford (Triston); brother, Guy Logan (Shelley); sisters, Mary Beaulieu (Normand), Melody O’Neill (Jim) and Laura MacFarlane (Andy); grandchildren, Abigail and Jordan; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her infant daughter, Amanda Colford.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Thursday, June 11, 2020 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Private Family Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, Fredericton, NB on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 11 am with Father Martin Arputham as celebrant. The public are invited to attend via. Facebook Live- Our Lady of Peace Parish Fredericton @Ourladyofpeaceparishfredericton. Interment will take place in St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Stanley NB. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Just Friends Food Bank and Community Resource Center.
