Obituary of Jim Price
PRICE
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James Marcus Price, age 70, on January 3, 2020 at Victoria Hospital, London surrounded by his devoted family.
Lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend, Susan Peacock, his adoring daughters Kelly Lawley (Douglas) and Krista McLenaghan (Dean) and grandchildren Meghan (Malcolm), Emma, Jayme, Morgan, Abbey, Daniel & Drew. Jim will be dearly missed by Susan’s sons; Barry, Jamie (Joanne) and Ryan (Elsa) Peacock and grandchildren Addison, Ben, Blake and Cate.
He is also survived by his Aunt Eva Rankin, several cousins and many who knew him as ‘Uncle Jim’. Predeceased by infant son James Jeffery (1968), his father Earle (1992) and mother Doris (2011).
Jim began his incredible life journey in the tiny village of Clachan. He became a funeral director and Emergency Medical Attendant and excelled at both. His passion for both industries inspired him to always do more through various professional associations and advocacy groups. Jim was instrumental in assisting the Ontario Ambulance Operators Association in growing from an office in the community of Rodney to a lobbying group for the betterment of ambulance service across the province. His exemplary communication skills and kind heart made him well loved and respected by all who knew him.
Friends may call at Denning’s of Rodney on Tuesday, January 7th, 2020 from 4 -7 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 2 pm with visitation one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution to the charity of YOUR choice would be appreciated as your expression of sympathy. Jim’s family would be grateful to read your favourite ‘Jim-isms’ in the tribute section.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Jim
