Obituary of Jimmy Hann
Sadly, the family announces that Jimmy passed away on July 2nd while in Palliative Care after many years of suffering with heart disease. Jimmy was born on February 7, 1937. He was the son of the late James and Hilda (Gray) Hann. In his working years, Jimmy started in the Military and later years he worked as a mechanic and School Bus driver.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Ivy (Kirk) Hann and their children: Mitzi (Lou) Shaw of Ellershouse, Marty (Sue) Hann of Halifax and Michelle (Howie) Smith of Spryfield. He is also survived by his sister, Shirley (Len) Cavan of Sambro Head and his grandchildren, Jennifer, Bradley, Sara, Jill, Trevor, Travis and many great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Jimmy was predeceased by his infant son, Norman Patrick. Jimmy will be in our hearts forever and missed by all his loving family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to J. Albert Walker Funeral Home Ltd (902-477-5601). Cremation has taken place and a private burial will follow. No visitation or flowers by request. Memorial donations can be made to St. James United Church, Sambro and online condolences can be placed at www.walkerfh.com
