It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Jim Norris on October 8, 2020 at the Sus Health Center at the age of 73. Born on August 13, 1947 in Norris Arm, Newfoundland, he was a son of the late George and Pansy (Beaton) Norris.
Jim will live on in the hearts of his sons: Robert (Tracy) Norris of Pîcadilly and Frank (Paula) Norris of Moncton; his daughters: Valerie Bradbury of Bathurst and Tammy (Glen) Douthwright of Picadilly; his brother Ross (Marg) Norris; his sisters: Madge (Mike) Hardy and Trudy (Tim) Genge; his grandchildren: Kayla, Ross, Bobby-Jo, Jacey, Joni, Corina and James; his great-grandchildren: Lydia, Kacey, Eli, Kymber, Hudson, Parker and Amelia; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents Jim was predeceased by his wife, Ellen “Ella“ Norris, great grandson, Kaden Gionet, special aunt, Phyllis Reid and son-in-law Roy Bradbury.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sus (506-433-1176). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 11:00am at the Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Sus Corner with Rev. Dana Dean officiating.
