James Douglas Dyce “Jim”
of Arthur passed away peacefully at Caressant Care Nursing Home on October 31, 2020 in his 78th year. Dear father of Chrissy and her husband Ryan Ferguson of Priceville. Grandfather of Colby and Paige. Stepfather of Kevin and Shannon Kopka of Mount Forest and Lena Kopka and Jason Ferguson of Conn. Brother of Donna Scott and Roy Sutton of Minesing, Bill and Barb Dyce of Arthur, Andy Dyce of Gordonville, Brenda Rooney, Audrey and Walt Peacock, Lindsay Dyce, Lynn and Rob Schmidt, John Dyce all of Arthur and Anna and Dave Langdon of Alma. Brother-in-law of Judy Dyce, Donna Dyce, Patricia Dyce and Penny Dyce. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Emma Dyce, siblings, sister-in-law and brothers-in-law, Ed Scott “Scotty”, Elsie and Earl Scarrow, Roy Dyce, Charlie Dyce, Ron Rooney, Irwin Dyce in infancy and Kathy Dyce. To honour Jim’s wishes cremation has taken place.
The family will receive friends at the Crawford Funeral Chapel, 243 George Street, Arthur on Tuesday evening, November 3, 2020. Please visit the book a visitation time below or call the Funeral Home at 519-848-6872 to schedule a time to attend the visitation.
Due to Provincial Restrictions there will be a limited number of people allowed in the Funeral Home at one time, Physical Distancing must be respected and Masks are required.
Private family interment in Greenfield Cemetery, Arthur.
As expressions of sympathy donations to the Gordonville Presbyterian Church, the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
