JESSICA ANN CHAPPLE
6 January 1954 – 24 March 2020
With broken hearts we announce that on Tuesday, March 24, Jessica Ann Chapple (Jessie), loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 66. Jessie was born in Tonbridge Wells, Kent, England. At the age of 6 her family moved to Canada where she lived in various cities in Alberta, Nova Scotia, and the North West Territories. Jessie met Anthony Chapple (Tony) in Yellowknife and they were married on April 6 1974. Jessie and Tony settled on a farm near Nanton where she raised 4 children, as well as a myriad of animals, vegetables and flowers.
Jessie will always be remembered for her unconditional love and dedication to family, her kindness, her hearty laugh and her eagerness to lend a helping hand when she saw a need. She was full of thoughtful ideas, always planning and working on projects or activities for someone. She enjoyed gardening, baking, reading and sewing. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren – going on adventures, carrying out experiments, doing crafts and baking. Her children especially cherish her constant dedication, patience, understanding and unconditional love.
In addition to raising her family, Jessie worked with Scase and Partners accounting firm for over 25 years.
Jessie will forever be remembered and loved by her husband Tony Chapple, her children: Christa, Jodie (Sully), Ryan (Audrey), and Nitaita (Clint), as well as grandchildren: Hunter, Madison, Tristan, Jesper, Loghan, Tegan, Ruari, Moira, and Levi; parents: Pamela and John; brothers and sisters: Ainsley (Alice), Angela, Patricia, Stephen, Cheryl (Don), Christopher, Maria (Travis), Teresa and Pamela; sister-in-law Connie (Keith), nieces and nephews: Roseann, Anthony, Curtis (Neale), Trevor (Analea), Mitchel (Simran), Stephanie, Luke, Mariah, Declan, Callum, Ronan, Aidan, Tobin, Hendrix, Felix and Luis, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in England and Australia. Jessica was predeceased by her mother-in-law, Paula Chapple, her father-in-law Leonard Chapple,sister-in-law Mary and her niece Trisha.
We are all the better to have shared our lives with her. She is dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A celebration of life is being planned in the summer – details to be determined.
