Obituary of Jerry Hiscock
Passed suddenly away on Thursday, July 2, 2020, Jerry Hiscock of Upper Island Cove, age 67 years. He will forever be remembered as a hard working, devoted family man to his loving wife, children and grandchildren. He was humorous, fun-loving, had a carefree attitude towards life, always making time for his family and his many friends.
Jerry was predeceased by infant son: Jonathan and his father: Joshua.
Leaving to mourn, wife: Gloria; two daughters: April (Matthew) Stone, Texas, USA and Jillian (Patrick) Duke, Mount Pearl; three sons: Jerry Jr. (Sherri), Conception Bay South, Robby (Jeri) and Adam (Amanda), both of Spaniard’s Bay; nine grandchildren: Nicholas, Michael, Anna, Cohen, Abel, Bella, Beau, Ella, and Lilah; step-grandson: Darien; mother: Lydia, Luxury Estates, Carbonear; three brothers: Dan (Louella), Victoria, Tony (Janice), Upper Island Cove, and Todd (Alina), Okotoks, AB; four sisters: Lavine (Lloyd, deceased) Evely, Victoria, Patricia ‘Patsy’ (Jeff) Simmons, Waterloo, ON, Joslyn Hiscock, Vancouver, BC, and Rosalind (Jack) Clarke, Victoria; members of the Coombs family; other relatives and friends.
Following government legislation due to the current pandemic, a private visitation will take place, followed by a private funeral service at Noel’s Funeral Home, Harbour Grace. Interment in St. Peter’s Anglican Cemetery, Upper Island Cove. After the pandemic, a celebration of life will be held in his honour.

My heartfelt condolences to the Hiscock family at this time. Going to school and growing up with Jerry afforded me to meet his dad many times. Throughout the years, whenever I saw him as he was always smiling and awesome to chat with. So sorry to learn of his passing.
