OBITUARIES
Jerry Jubinville
1963 – 2020
It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jerry Jubinville. Jerry was called home to the Creator on October 2nd, 2020.
Jerry leaves behind wife, Brenda, and sons, Randy (RJ) and Jaden. Aside from his wife and sons, Jerry was a loving uncle, brother, nephew, cousin and friend. Jerry leaves behind siblings, Lillian (James), Roger, June and niece Tammy. Lillian (sister) and James (brother-in-law) were very supportive of Jerry and encouraged him in his pursuits. Jerry leaves behind numerous aunts and uncles. Aunties Lorraine, Carol and Cookie were especially formative. Because of twenty five years, In law seems diminish the familial relationship to his In Laws. Jerry leaves behind Linda; Brian (Debbie); Dianne; Ron; Tim; Miles and Darryl. Nieces and nephews: Robin, Shauna and Daniel; Shelby and Stephanie; Jordanna; Mathew; Tim Jr, Brandon and Danielle; Zachary and Dahlen; Taylor/Tweet. There are numerous great nieces and nephews as well.
He will be deeply missed by many. Jerry was predeceased by his mother, Ethel Jubinville, and his brother, Mark Jubinville, and grandfather, Fred Thomas.
Aside from raising his sons, with his wife, Jerry loved camping; road trips across Canada; family dinners and just relaxing around the fire pit with a beer. Jerry worked many years in the steel industry and made numerous friends. But his biggest accomplishment was his family and home. Jerry was so proud to own his own home and learned to do many repairs ‘Hands on’. He always said that it didn’t feel right, if nobody was home. He marveled at his boys and actively participated in their accomplishments. He felt their pride in their highs and commiserated in their heartaches.
Jerry was a hard worker. Jerry exemplified “Work hard and Play hard”. He enjoyed being the Life of the Party. He would want to make sure that everyone was enjoying themselves as much as he was. He loved music and enjoyed singing along with his favourites. He enjoyed supporting his teams (Jets and Bombers) “Go Jets Go!”. He could build an instant friendship with someone wearing one of their jerseys. Jerry felt strongly about his beliefs. He would fully participate in any conversation regarding aliens, ancient civilizations, and various conspiracy theories. He wouldn’t necessarily believe all conspiracies, but he loved to discuss them.
His family will truly miss him and wish that there was more time. He is now free of pain, and may he always soar with the eagles.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Jerry Jubinville 1963 2020..
