Bender, Jeffrey Frank “Jeffro”:
Passed away on December 21, 2020 in Fergus, Ontario at the age of 63.
Beloved husband to Bonnie Bender.
Loving father to Ryan Bender (Melanie Gagnon), Derek Bender, Anthony De Sousa and Jackie De Sousa (Jamie Hickey).
Cherished Grandpa to Reese, Benjamin and Devyn Bender.
Dear brother to Glen, Gary, Brian and Denise.
Predeceased by his parents Gilbert and Nellie.
Reunited with his dog Reily (Peanut) who was his constant companion and work buddy.
Jeff loved his family, especially his grandchildren and spent many hours spoiling them with motorized toys and fun activities. He enjoyed cottage time year round where he participated in water skiing, boating, tubing, downhill skiing and snowmobiling. He loved to work with his hands and was an entrepreneur all his life. He owned and operated Fineline Fireplaces for 30 years with his sons Derek, Ryan and John Stroh as manager. Jeff always had a project he was working on. He leaves behind many dear friends who will miss him greatly.
Jeff’s family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Guests must RSVP a time slot to attend the visitation. Cremation has taken place. A private service will be held with interment to follow at Parkview Cemetery. A heartfelt thank-you to the staff at Princess Margaret Hospital, Grand River Hospital, and Groves Memorial Community Hospital for their excellent care of Jeffrey over the past three years.
