With much sadness, we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Jeff at his home. He was born in Nova Scotia and moved to Maple Ridge, B.C with his family when he was a teenager. In 1977, he settled in Coquitlam, where he resided for the rest of his life. In his early years, he excelled in competitive swimming and enjoyed playing hockey, a sport that would become a lifelong passion. He enjoyed playing and watching many other sports, such as tennis and baseball throughout his life. He loved to socialize and was always generous, giving away much of what he received. Jeff recently retired after working at Hammond Cedar Mill for 47
years.
He was predeceased by his parents, Roy & Jean. He is survived by his daughter Michelle and son Nelson, his brother Larry, and sisters Linda and Jill, as well as his nephews and niece. Jeff will be missed by many, including an abundance of friends in the community & John B Pub. No public service is planned.
