YHARD, Jeffrey C – Peacefully and with his family by his side, Jeffrey Yhard 68 of Amherstview passed after a short courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by his loving wife of 41 years Florence Yhard, his parents Matthew and Martha Yhard, sister Ida Seury and brother George (Bud) Yhard. Loving father to Shari (Charles) Taylor and Matthew Yhard. Beloved Poppa to Nicholas Yhard. Jeff will be missed by his sister, brother, nieces, nephews, his father-in-law Allen MacLean as well as his brothers and sisters-in-law. Jeff worked for the city of Kingston utilities for 34 years before retiring 13 years ago.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to the entire cancer team at Kingston Health Sciences Centre, especially his oncologist Dr. Jill Dudebout. The family would like to also thank the staff of Kidd 10 for assisting Jeff to pass peacefully, pain free and with dignity.
Aquamation to take place at Wartman Funeral Home – Kingston Chapel. Jeff will be transported home to Cape Breton Island and laid to rest beside his late wife and soulmate.
