Myers, Jeannette Elaine – Harmony, N.S, After a lengthy illness Jeannette passed away peacefully, with Lane by her side, Monday April 20, 2020 at Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Middleton, N.S.
Born in Bridgetown on April 26, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Cecil and Violet (Brimblecombe) Ward. Jeannette is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 59 years, Lane Myers; daughters, Lisa Cassidy, Mississauga, ON, Stephanie (Christopher) Winstanley, Kinburn, ON; son, Timothy Myers (Jane Njihia), Ottawa, ON; sisters, Daphne Rudolph, Barbara (Peter) Hosking and Dianna Bowlby; grandchildren, Rebecca Lane Cassidy, Iain Cassidy, Victoria Violet Cassidy, Wanjiru Myers, Njihia Myers, Curtis Winstanley, Carter Winstanley and Rhiannon Winstanley; step-grandchildren, Victoria Mundia and Joan Mundia, 35 beloved nieces and nephews and many in-laws. Besides her parents, Jeannette was predeceased by sisters, Nada Scofield, Audrey Jarrett, Rosalind Jackson and Shirley Mathieson; brothers, John Ward, Edgar Ward, David Ward and Robert Ward.
Jeannette was a wonderful and gentle soul and a loving mother, wife and grandmother, who adored her family. She led a wonderful life and touched so many lives with her unbelievable kindness. We will love you forever and miss you dearly. There are no goodbyes, and wherever you are you will always be in our hearts.
