Jeannette Daigle
1934-2020
SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB
– Jeannette Daigle, 86, of Aldouane passed away peacefully
at the Villa Maria, St-Louis-de-Kent on Monday, December
21st 2020. Born in Pont-du-Milieu,
NB, she was the daughter of the late Ben and Sadie (Babineau) Johnson.
Jeannette was an accomplished and gifted seamstress, her needlepoint
work and quilts were exquisite.
She
would make our clothing. She loved nature and was very
proud of her gardens. She loved to go fishing and to
hunt partridge. She faced her fear of water and learned to
swim. She loved to sing in the choir
and she sang herself “Happy birthday” one last time in
September. We inherited her extraordinary
laugh which was always hearty.
Her
strength of character, her sense of humour, her big heart and
intelligence will be missed
enormously.
Jeannette leaves to mourn her two daughters, JoAnne
Daigle (Anthony Efejuku) of Prescott, Ontario, Gloria Robichaud
(Georges) of Saint-Louis-de-Kent; as well as her granddaughter,
Chantal Robichaud (Alain).
Jeannette will also be sadly missed by her sister,
Dianna Thibodeau (late Joe) of
Richibucto.
Besides her parents, Jeannette was predeceased by her
husband, Clarence Daigle; daughter, Dianne Daigle; grandson, Philippe
Robichaud; and by her nine brothers, Eric (Elva), Ronald (Marjorie),
Elmo (Noëlla), Omer, Roméo (May),
Adélard (Laurida), Albert, Roger (Victoria) and
Edgar.
As
per the family’s wishes and in consideration of the pandemic
state, there will be no visitation at the funeral home.
A
private family service will be announced and held at a later date. The
family encourages that you honor Jeannette’s memory with making a
random act of kindness to
others.
