Jeanne Geneau
1928-2020
Jeanne Geneau of Plaster Rock, NB, passed away peacefully at the Grand
Falls Manor (Falls Villa) on the evening of October 14, 2020.
Jeanne was born in Grand Falls, NB, on March 31, 1928. She was the
daughter of the late Frederick and Addee (Parent) Lagace. Jeanne
leaves behind her daughters, Diane Geneau of Moncton, NB, Murielle
Mulherin (Douglas) of Woodstock, NB, Aline Geneau of Plaster Rock, NB;
her sons, Philip Geneau (Susan) of Mapleview, NB, Roland Geneau of
Blue Bell, NB, Gerald Geneau (Robin) of Boiestown, NB, Roger Geneau of
Alberta; her sister, Lina Geneau of Grand Falls Portage; her
half-brother, Joseph Arseneau (Bernice) of Blue Bell, NB; 21
grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and
nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Edgar Geneau; her
son, Maurice Geneau; her grandson, Dylan Geneau; sisters, Anita
Albert, Marie Cormier, and Rita Geneau; brothers, Paul, Claude, and
Hubert Lagace.
In keeping with Jeanne’s wishes, there will be no visitation or
funeral held. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October
24, 2020 at 2:30 pm at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Cemetery. Father
Gilbert Doddatto officiating.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the Falls Villa would be
appreciated by the family.
