Jean Viola Wood (nee Cullum)
of Arthur passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at the Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus at the age of 88. Beloved mother of Tom and Cindy Wood of Moorefield, Frank and Donna Wood of Arthur, Donna Woods of Arthur and the late Norman Woods, Ron and Anita Wood of Fergus, Marg and Moe Ghandour of Lebanon and Robert and Nancy Irvine of Bradford. Cherished grandmother of Jim Wood, Kim Wood; Brian Wood and Khalil Thompson, Melissa Wood and Todd Gallie, Bev Woods-Young and Mac Young, Matt and Brenda Morell; Joe Wood, Aaron Wood; Chris Lambke, Tom Lambke and Shannon Bolen, Bassel Ghandour, Sami Ghandour, Zeina Ghandour. Great grandmother of Alexis, Opie, Jaslynn, Jordan, Jayden, Jace, Hannah, Eleanor, Gretchen, Finnegan, Jaxon and Mikayla. Sister of Bill Cullum and the late Verna Cullum (2010) and Edythe and Peter Petrik. Sister-in-law of Joan Cullum. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Predeceased by long time partner Ross Irvine (2000), Tom Wood (2010), son Jim Wood (1980) her parents Ida and William Cullum, her siblings Marg and Bob Rickert (2012), Jack Cullum (2018), Sam Cullum (2015) and by Stanley Irvine (2019).
The family will receive friends at the Crawford Funeral Chapel, 243 George Street, Arthur, Ontario on Friday, March 6, 2020 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday, March 7, 2020 from 9:30 a.m. to time of service at 10:30 a.m.
Interment Elora Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy donations to Caressant Care Activities Fund or the Arthur Royal Canadian Legion would be appreciated by the family.
