It is with deep sadness that we, the family, wish to inform you of the passing of Jean-Paul Boudreau, husband of Claudette (Bertin) Boudreau, of Beresford, which occurred at the Saint-Jean Regional Hospital on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at the age of 67.
Born in Beresford, he was the son of Gérard and Émérilda (Roy) Boudreau.
Besides his wife and best friend Claudette and his parents, he is survived by his children: Philippe in Moncton and Jean-Michel (Yee Lee) of Nappierville, QC.
His grandchildren Amélie and Isabelle (and their mother Ténie Michaud), Abigail and Wilfred.
He also leaves two brothers: Francois (Darlene) and André (Yolande), a sister Jacynthe (Donald), his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Roger, Nicole, Marie-Claire, Zafer, Denise and Reed. He will be greatly missed by his aunts, nephews, nieces and many friends,
Jean-Paul worked with Enterprise Chaleur. He had a passion for photography and especially enjoyed sharing it with his many students. He loved working the ancestral land with Claudette. He enjoyed playing guitar and singing with his friends, riding a scooter and driving his convertible Mustang.
There will be no visitations at the Funeral Home. A farewell celebration will be held in private at a later date. You may express your sympathy by donating to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
