Obituary for Jean McLauchlin
Died suddenly, but peacefully, at her home on Tuesday, July 14, 2020. JEAN McLAUCHLIN (nee McPhail), of Petrolia, was 85 years of age. Jean was predeceased by her husband Clayton (2000). She will be missed by her children Tammy (Jeff) Ditmars, Connie (David) Braswell, and Clayton (Linda) McLauchlin, her grandchildren Jesse (Nicole), Hailey, and Colton. Jean is predeceased by her parents Rosie and James McPhail and was predeceased by her brother Harley (Marg) McPhail. She is also survived a sister-in-law Pat Cousineau. She was an aunt to Danny Cousineau, Jim (Shari) McPhail, Scott (Kim) McPhail, Mac (Donna) McPhail, Wayne (Lois) McPhail, Cindy (Len) Duncan, Rick (Janet) McPhail, the late Harley (Lynn) McPhail, and several great nieces and nephews. A private service will be held, with interment in Hillsdale Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Children’s Health Foundation (www.childhealth.ca).
