Jean Marie (Stevens) Croft
1935-2020
Jean Marie (Stevens) Croft, 85, of Pereau, passed away on
Sunday, November 8, 2020 in Valley Regional Hospital. Born in
Wolfville, she was a daughter of the late William
“Bill” and Dorothy Stevens. Jean is survived by her
daughters, Idella Croft (Randy Russell), Doris (Peter) Fowler, and
Stella (Lorne) Leopold; sons, Richard (Loretta) and Arnold; sisters,
Barbara (David) McDermott and Helen (Aubrey) Spencer; brothers, Keith
(Creta), Stan and David (Sheila); grandchildren, Jessica, Ashley,
Cassandra, Samantha, Nathan, Jeffrey, Nicole, Melissa, John and
Kelsey; and 17 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she
was predeceased by her husband, Ivan Croft; siblings, Doris, Peggy,
Ted, Wade, Paul, Gordon and twins in infancy. There will be no
visitation. A public graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on
Tuesday, November 10, 2020 in Pereau Baptist Cemetery, Pereau. A video
webcast of the service will be available at 10:00 a.m. the following
day. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral
Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
