It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of
Jean Cruikshank on Thursday, June 4th, 2020. Jean was
the beloved wife of the late Gordon Cruikshank and
mother to Susan (Ron), Alan (predeceased) and Lynn
(Mike).
Loving and fun Nana to Kristen, Bryan (Lauren), Nicole
(Billy), Britany (Tommy), Joshua, Jared and G.G. to
Victoria. She will be sadly missed by her brother Ken
(Jean) and best friend and sister Joy and all her nieces
and nephews. She will be reunited with her sister Dolly
and brother Doug (Penny).
Jean’s passions were her children and hosting family
parties. She also took great pleasure in hosting tea parties
with her wonderful neighbours.
Due to the pandemic, instead of a funeral, we ask that
everyone have a cup of tea in honour of mom. For those
wishing to make a donation on behalf of Jean, please do
so to the Trillium Health Partners Foundation or the
Alzheimer’s Society of Canada. Online condolences may
