Jean Claude “John” Savoie of Edmonton Alberta formerly of Miramichi NB, passed away Saturday February 8, 2020 in Yorkton Saskatchewan, at the age of 50.
Born in Newcastle NB, he was the son of David and Dorilla (Comeau) Savoie. He was a heavy equipment operator for Davey Tree Services. He also was a member of the Roman Catholic Church.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his partner Brenda Brewer, one daughter Kelsey Savoie of Bellefond, three sons; Andrew (Kelli) of Miramichi, Ryan (Melissa) of Beaverbrook and Evan (Kassidy) of Bellefond, four sisters; Brenda Hachey (Michael) Chaplin Island Road, Wanda Hachey (Kevin) of Beaverbrook, Laura Hare (Sandy) of Warwick Settlement and Christina Nowlan (Colin) of Prince Edward Island, one brother Jerry Savoie (Janie) of Beaverbrook and one granddaughter Khloe Savoie.
He was predeceased by one brother Arthur and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Jean Claude “John” Savoie is resting at Davidson’s Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, with visitation on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 15, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, with father Antonio Reyes officiating.
