Jean Beverley Cook was born on January 9, 1925 in Vancouver, British Columbia to parents Edgar and Edith Neff. Jean married John Frederick “Fred” Cook in Dawson City on January 24, 1946.
Jean is survived by her daughter Beatrice Jean Wytinck, son James William “Jim” Cook, grandchildren, Desiree Jean Cook, Jenilee Bessy Cook, and Sonya Wytinck (Paul Parker), great grandchildren, Terrence & Dallen O’Brien, Telena Jones, Zander and Zabrina Leslie, Amanda and Dylan Wytinck, and great great grandchild, Kianna Baker.
Jean is pre-deceased by her husband Fred Cook, and grandson Lyall Wytinck.
A funeral service for Jean will be held on Friday, February 21, 2020 at 10:00am at Sacred Heart Cathedral, located at 406 Steele Street in Whitehorse, with burial to follow at Grey Mountain Cemetery. A reception will be held at the CYO Hall, located in the basement of Sacred Heart Cathedral.
