Kouba – Jaromir
Jaromir (Jerry) Kouba, uplifted by the sacraments of the Catholic Church, passed at the Ottawa Heart Institute on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at the age of 85. Husband for 53 years of Martine. Father of Marie-Anne Branaman (Tim) and Pierre (Charlotte). Grandfather of Jacob, Georgia, Tommy, Max, Pete, Abby, Sadie, Lily and Isabelle. Predeceased by his brother George. Chestertonian, beekeeper, avid chess player, terrible fisherman. A Funeral Mass will take place at Our Lady of the Visitation Church, 5338 Bank St, Gloucester, ON on Saturday, February 1st at 2:30 p.m followed by a reception at the neighbouring church hall, to which all are invited. Interment will occur at Our Lady of Visitation Cemetery in the spring. Those wishing may make memorial donations to St. Catherine Parish, 2718 8th Line Rd., Metcalfe, ON K0A 2P0.
