Obituary of Janet Jerrard
Passed away peacefully at the age of 77 on Thursday, December 24th at the F. J. Davey home in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario where she lived with her husband. She was born in Galt, Ontario on February 2nd, 1943 to Ralph and Lois Hanna. Janet will be deeply missed by her husband, Robert, of 55 years and their three children Terri Beaulieu (Mike), Jeff (Sarah) and Gary (Karen). She will be forever remembered by her five grandchildren Patrick, Cameron, Jayce, Regan and Bryce and brother Bob Hanna (Judy). Janet leaves behind so many close and incredibly supportive friends that span her life from training to be a nurse in London, Ontario in the 1960’s, being a public health nurse in northern Ontario for over 30 years, and an active volunteer and quilter on St. Joseph’s Island. Due to the pandemic no services will take place. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road). Memorial donations can be made in Janet’s honour to Grace United Church in Hilton Beach on St. Joseph’s Island or the Sault Ste. Marie Alzheimer’s Society.
