Janet Lucille Matchett
Janet L. Matchett, 85, of
Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Dr. Georges-L. Dumont
University Hospital Centre on Sunday, October 18,
2020.
Born in Moncton, she was the
daughter of the late Frank and Myrtle (Crossman)
Cripps.
Janet was a loving wife,
mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She was a member of
St. George’s Anglican Church and enjoyed trailering,
travelling, birdwatching and spending several years with Rae at their
winter residence in Mesa, Arizona; but first and foremost was spending
precious time with her family.
Janet will be sadly missed by
her husband of 64 years, Rae Matchett; daughters, Diana Stokes
(Thayne) or Riverview, Kelly Arsenault (Kevin) of Calgary, AB and
Stephanie Arsenault (Todd) of Moncton; grandchildren, Scott, Ryan,
Sean, Todd and Erin; great granddaughter, Zoe and great grandsons,
Jude and James; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family
members.
In addition to her parents,
she was predeceased by sisters, Barbara, Kay and
Sandra.
A Service to celebrate
Janet’s life will be held at St. George’s Anglican
Church, 51 Church St., at a later date with The Rev. Chris VanBuskirk
officiating. Interment will be held at Fair Haven Memorial
Gardens.

arrangements.
