BURNS, Jane (née Mechefske)
Unexpectedly, at her home in North Bay, on Saturday, November 7, 2020. She was 65 years old. Jane was predeceased by her husbands Raymond Burns (1945-1997) and Ivan Brown (1943-2006). She was the beloved mother of Leigh-Ann Burns of North Bay, Donna Burns (Patti) of Trout Creek and Jo-Ellen Whiting (Doug) of Trenton. Grandma will be lovingly remembered by Rayne Piercy of North Bay. Jane was the dear sister of Bill Mechefske of Sturgeon Falls, Chris Mechefske (Lindy) of Kingston, Peter Mechefske (Bernice) of Trout Creek, Andy Lang (Dolly) of Trout Creek and the late Belinda Young (late Cletus). She was predeceased by her parents Margaret (Lang) and Ken Mechefske. Cremation has taken place. Private family service only. A celebration of Jane’s life will be announced at a later date.
