It is with great sadness that the family of Jan van Giessen announce his passing on April 30, 2020 at the age of 92 years.
Jan passed away peacefully after a short stay at Moog and Friends Hospice House in Penticton, BC.
He is survived by his wife, Johanna; daughter Cornelia (Donald) Topolnisky; two granddaughters; two great-granddaughters, one great-grandson; two great-great-grandchildren all of Edmonton, AB; two brothers and one sister in the Netherlands.
At Jan’s request there will be no formal service. Cremation has taken place.
