Obituary of James Robert Weir
WEIR, James “Jim” Robert – Peacefully with his family by his side, Jim Weir passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Friday, June 26, 2020 at the age of 66. Beloved husband of Irene. Loving father of James Weir (Stephanie), Wyoming, Christopher Weir (Britney), Sarnia, Emma Wheatley (Richard) England, Robert Bayliss (Rachelle) Port Huron, John Weir Bethel (Danielle), Ireland and Victoria Bailey (Simon), England. Cherished grandfather of Raquel, Robert & Kayleigh Bayliss, Kyle Bailey, Alyissa & Aiden Wheatley, Blaik & Alex Weir, James, Nico & Khloe Weir and Kayley & Josh Bethel. Dear brother of Margaret Semmons (Paul) England. Also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law. Predeceased by his parents Daniel & Elizabeth Weir and 2 siblings. Jim was a mechanic with Precision Transmission for many years. He enjoyed being a handyman and was an avid photographer. Jim had a Triumph motorcycle which he loved to ride. At Jim’s request cremation has taken place and there will be no public visitation or service. The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Evan Lilly and Jim’s nurse Mandy for their compassionate and excellent care.
