Obituary of James Keith Fenton
FENTON, James K. ‘Jim’
Pictou
August 13, 1967 – July 25, 2020.
James ‘Jim’ Keith Fenton passed away at home on July 25, 2020. Born in Antigonish, NS, he was a son of Doreen (George) Luddington Irish and the Late Wendell K. Fenton. He is survived by the “love of his life”, Judy (Langille) Fenton; daughters, Kim (Peter) Fenton, Caity (Joel) Fenton; grandchildren, Abbey, Chloe, Jake, Becca and Emma; goddaughter, Kiley Langille; brother, Aubrey (Rose) Fenton, Parrsboro; and sister, Mona Fenton, Edmonton; many in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and great friends. Jim was a dedicated member of the Pictou Volunteer Fire Dept, the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #16 and the local 56 union. He was always happiest in the woods or fishing, an avid outdoorsman who also loved playing darts, lobster fishing, 4 wheeling, camping and Coors Light. He loved his mom, family, and his friends. He loved his community and was always there to lend a hand when needed. He took great pride in everything he did. He was a dedicated Toronto Maple Leaf Fan and a diehard Dale Earnhardt / Nascar fan. Cremation has taken place. A pubic visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou. Donations in Jim’s memory may be made to Helping the Helpers.
