James Brown 1936 2020

Obituary of James Brown
Jim passed away peacefully on Friday, April 24, 2020, at Kings Way Care Centre, after a great life shared with his late wife Cynthia. Jim was born on December 29, 1936, in Titusville and was the son of the late Clinton and Alice (Robinson) Brown.
During his life, Jim loved teaching at Vocational School for over 30 years, after his retirement he worked at John Howard Society for 17 years. He had a passion for collecting antiques and old guns as well as meticulously manicuring his lawn and garden throughout the summer months.
Jim’s pride and joy was his son Dave and grandchildren Cole and Brooke, who will remember him for his soft spoken words, his laugh and huge kind heart that we all came to know and love. Jim had a special spot in his heart for the staff of Kings Way Care Centre, who provided him and his late wife with much love and care.
Jim is survived by his son David (Tracey) of Rothesay and his grandson Cole. He was predeceased by his parents and wife Cynthia. He will be missed by all his family and friends.
Arrangements are under the care of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119). Due to the current health crisis a celebration of James’s life will be held at a later date. Interment will take place in Hampton Rural Cemetery. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Kennebecasis Valley Food Bank, would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences may be placed at: www.KennebecasisFH.com
