James Arthur Leveck 1946 2020

Obituary of James Arthur Leveck
On July 5th, 2020 James A. Leveck was called home to join loved ones and “deal the cards in heaven’s tournament”. Jim will be missed dearly by his loving Wife & Best friend of 30 yrs Jayne Ann Leveck (Stokes), his Children Jim Jr. (Donna), Steve (Jen), Tammy (Wayne), Catherine (Rob) and Nathanial. His Grandchildren to whom he was always there with a hug “Papa”. Also survived by his Sister and dear friend Lois Ann (Ron). Many Nieces, Nephews, Extended family and so many friends he considered family. He will forever leave a void in our hearts, as a “Honey, Dad, Senior, Papa, Uncle Jim and Jimmy”. Things he will be remembered for by those of whom knew him will be his hard work ethic & dedication which transpired through 4 decades of running his own successful insurance brokerage. His ability to always be up for anything even when his health may have had other plans, his love for family and friends. He kept looking forward, living and loving life. He will be remembered for his relentless winning hands in crib, his love for card tournaments, corn roasts, boating and his small bon fires! Having fun with friends and family was “what it was all about”. The summer trailer was his happy place and so it was fitting that he spent his last day there surrounded by family and friends doing what he loved. Do it while you can he used to say, live your best life possible.
Due to current restricted gatherings the family is having a small private ceremony. In lieu of flowers if someone would like to make a donation in Jim’s honor, the Ottawa Heart Institute was one dear to him. Arrangements entrusted to the care of the Goulet Funeral Home, Renfrew.
