STEPHENS, James David
Passed peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on July 21st, 2020 at the age of 76, after a valiant four-year battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Judy (together for 50 years). Loving father of Caroline (Brent), Mary (Steve), and Dawn (Scott). Pre-deceased by his sons Kevin (Natalie) and Michael (Sonni). Cherished grandfather of Genna (Peter), Connor, Samantha, Mitchell, Kelsey, Tynan, Lily, Randy and McKenna. Survived by his dear mother Margaret, as well as his sisters Marilyn (Bob), Nancy, Lisa (Bill), and Lori. Predeceased by sister Cathy and brother Gary.
Cremation has taken place, with arrangements entrusted to the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie. Due to Covid19 restrictions, a celebration of Jim’s life will follow at a later date. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society are greatly appreciated by the family.
