March 23, 1968 – April 3, 2020
Raised in Dollard des Ormeaux, attended Lindsay Place High School and John Abbot College in the West Island. Normand loved sports and was competitive and excelled in most activities during his youth.
A winning smile and a helping hand was his trade mark. Entering adulthood, mental illness was a battle that he fought most of his life. He overcame many obstacles with the support of his parents Joelle and Maurice and siblings Brian, Glen, Tim and Corinne.
Normand James was a kind soul but not understood by all as the disease of schizophrenia consumed him and his life was suddenly cut short. Normand will be remembered by his radiant smile and warm heart. May you find peace at the end of your rainbow.
