Obituary
James Lloyd Richardson
(Sept.17, 1943 to Dec.8, 2020)
Jim, as he was known to all of his friends and family, passed away after a brief but difficult battle with Leukemia on Tuesday December 8th at the Whitecourt Heath Care Centre, his loving wife Diane by his side.
Jim will be dearly missed by his wife Diane, Daughter Sharon Gerritse (Harry), sons Larry Richardson (Lena), Keven Richardson (Leanne), Granddaughters Kristen, Kennedy, Addy, great granddaughter Sophia as well as so many others that knew him as “Grandpa Jim” and numerous friends and neighbors.
We would like to send a special thank you to all of the friends and neighbors in the community of Peers who were so supportive during this difficult time along with the Doctors and Nurses that provided such compassionate care.
Due to COVID restrictions there will not be a funeral service at this time. Interment of Jim’s ashes at the MacLeod Valley Cemetery and a celebration of Jim’s life will be held later in the spring when we are all able to gather together.
