Mr. James Kelly
At Victoria Hospital, London, on Tuesday September 8th, 2020, Mr. James “Jim” Kelly of Chatham in his 62nd year went home to be with his Lord after his 43 year long battle with kidney disease. Cherished son of the late Bruce and Margaret Kelly. Beloved husband and best friend of Sandra. Loving father of Shannon Kelly, and Christina Kelly. Jim was a Puppa to his ‘grandpuppy’ Rufus. Dear brother of Pat Kelly and his wife Brenda, Dan Kelly and his wife Susan. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Mike, and infant sister Kathryn. Jim along side his wife Sandra were the proud owners of the Lighting & Accent Gallery in Chatham before happily retiring. Friends wishing to pay their respects to Jim are invited to call the funeral home (519-352-2710) in advance to reserve a time on Friday September 11th, 2020 with visiting from 11:30 am to 1 pm. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, you must schedule your visitation time in advance. All attendees as mandated by the Bereavement Authority of Ontario must wear a mask at all visitations and funerals. A private funeral service for Jim will be conducted in the chapel of the funeral home at 1:30 pm with Bruce St. Jean officiating. Interment Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
