James “Jim” Gerald Bayliss
On Friday June 26th, 2020 after declining health, James (Jim) Bayliss passed away at Boundary Trails Health Centre at age 86.
Jim was born on the family farm near Miami, MB the 4th oldest of a family of 11. His family and farming became his life. He was hard working, kind and caring with an infectious smile and quick wit. Dad was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, family was truly his priority whether helping with projects or participating in his grandkid’s adventures over the years. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and going for his daily walks. Many days were spent working in his shop on the farm tinkering on machinery or carpentry. Dad will be fondly remembered but sadly missed by all who knew him.
He married his loving wife and soul mate of 59 years Glenda (Stewart) June 17th, 1961. Their daughter Sheri was born March 3, 1963 and their son Kevin October 26, 1965.
Jim was predeceased by his parents Richard and Helen Bayliss, brothers Leslie, Dave, Lyle, Clarence, Larry and sister Nellie, brothers-in-law Orne and Roy. In-laws John and Joyce Stewart, brothers-in-law Ken and Donald (Joe).
