Carruthers, James “Jim” – 66, River Philip, passed away Tuesday, October 6th, 2020 in North Cumberland Memorial Hospital, Pugwash. Born in St. Anthony, NL, he was a son of the late Daniel and Jane (Burt) Carruthers. Jim enjoyed cooking, reading and spending time with his friends. For many years Jim worked with A1 Lumpers in Moncton and Newfoundland. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl (Adshade); stepdaughter, Amanda (Rick); grandson, Bailey; and twin brother, Daniel (Donna). Cremation has taken place in the care of MacDiarmid’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Oxford (902-447-2930). Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.mmcfunerals.com.
