  1. To the Haines Family, I offer my deepest condolences. Jim was one of the kindest people I know and will be greatly missed. I worked with Jim for a long time and found him hard pressed to say something bad about anyone but rather smile kindly. After Jim’s retirement we enjoyed 5-8 dinners ever 6 months or so at a local restaurant near Jim to catch up on this and that with a few good chuckles. Never short on a few good jokes he was. For the most part you could count on Jim to have a smile on his face and very approachable regardless of whatever was going on in his life. It was just his kind demeanor. I will surely miss that. I had the pleasure of meeting Jim’s daughter and wife at a lunch we organized for his retirement, what a pleasure. It was easy to see why he was always smiling, what a delightful family. To you I say this, fall back on your good memories and cherish them. These tough times will seem a little easier to endure and you will come out the other side with all the good that he was.
    Sincerely
    Don

  2. I was a collegue at Dorval 15 years ago and each week he would teach us a typically british expression… We had fun working together! What a good man he was!
