James (Butch) Turner was born on June 28, 1945 in Rossland, BC and passed away on October 27, 2020 in Rossland, BC.
He was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Audrey.
James is survived by his spouse of 22 years, Bonita (Bonnie) George, her children and grandchildren, his sisters, special friends, Peter (Eleanor) Venier, Jonny (Meghan) and their children Veda and Lewin.
Butch spent his working years as a welder at Tech. He loved everything outdoors. Prior to his illnesses, he was an avid skier, hiker, cyclist and angler. Butch was a compassionate and generous man, much loved by the children and grandchildren of his extended family and friends.
A Celebration of his Life is to be determined.

I spent a lot of time with Butch especially when we shared the Leroi house and we had a lot of memories built on the ski hill as well. He will be missed.
