It is with sadness we announce the passing of Jim Dubrule at his home at Pine Lake, Alberta on March 29, 2020 at the age of 71 years. Jim grew up at the family farm at Gallivan, Saskatchewan and went grade school at Gallivan and graduated high school at Cutknife, Saskatchewan. He worked at various jobs including a time at Prince George doing roofing and worked as a mechanic for an auto racing crew. He returned to Cutknife to farm for a time, during which he spent a few years looking after the curling rink in Cutknife. He eventually moved to Wetaskiwin where he again worked as a mechanic until he retired. His retirement years were spent at Pine Lake, Alberta with his friends from work Geoffrey and Judy White. They enjoyed life on a farm where they grew large gardens and especially enjoyed fishing in Northern Saskatchewan. Jim will be lovingly remembered by his sisters, Donna Dubrule and Lucille Trautman and his brothers, Leonard and Ted Dubrule as well as extended family. Jim was predeceased by his parents Art and Merle Dubrule, his sister, Pauline Sazwand and his brother John Dubrule. At Jim’s request, no service will be held.
