James Aeneas Campbell June 26th 1941 July 24th 2020

The death occurred peacefully at the Souris Hospital surrounded by family on Friday, July 24, 2020 of James Aeneas (Jim) Campbell of Souris West. Jim was predeceased by his wife Helen, son Mark, granddaughter Darby Campbell and brothers Joe, Charlie and Arthur.
Jim will be fondly remembered by all who knew him and particularly by his family, Roger (Joanne), Allan (Karen), Lynn Ann (Desi Cheverie), Melissa (Matt Devine), daughter-in-law Tricia MacLean, and nine grandchildren as well as his special friend, Delores Paquet. Survived by his siblings Genevieve Holland, Ken (Eleanor), Bernard (Marie), Ronnie (Minnie), Basil, John (Mae), Leo (Joan), Margaret O’Brien (Dave), Helen Campbell, Anna-Marie McFarlane (Stuart) and Pius.
Jim will also be missed by his second family, the staff and patients of the dialysis unit of Souris Hospital with whom he spent so much time over the years receiving kind and gentle care. Thank you as well to Dr. Craig Malone, Dr. Terry Magennis and the nurses and staff of the Souris Hospital.
Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris where visiting hours will take place for immediate family only. A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Souris. Due to health restrictions, funeral attendance is limited to 50 people and will be by invitation only. Interment to follow in St. Alexis Church Cemetery, Rollo Bay. If so desired, memorial donations can be made to the Souris Hospital.
