Jakob Borosch Sunday December 13th 2020

Borosch, Jakob:
Born April 11, 1934
Died December 13, 2020
Loving husband of Lieselotte (recently deceased) and dad to Brigitte, Harold, Bernd, Hansi (Karen) and Claudia. Loving Opa to Katie, Meagan, Jared, Tyler, Michael and Benjamin.
After a happy childhood in Franztal, Yugoslavia, Jakob and his family survived internment camp and later began a new life in Germany. In Yugoslavia Jakob earned his papers as a tinsmith. Later in Germany he achieved his Meisterbrief as Flaschner. After arriving with the family in Canada in 1967 he earned his qualifications as a sheet metal worker and was qualified to teach apprentices.
In his retirement Jakob loved wood working, gardening, traveling and golfing with his buddies. Jakob and Lieselotte enjoyed many years together at the cottage on the Bruce Peninsula.
The family would like to thank the Palliative Care Team of the Waterloo Wellington LHIN as well as the nurses of Care Partners, especially Allison who cared for Jakob and supported the family during this difficult time.
According to Jakob’s wishes, cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
