Jade Elizabeth Begg February 11th 2020

May 21, 2002 – February 11, 2020
Our hearts are broken as we mourn the loss of Jade Elizabeth Begg who passed away suddenly at 17 years of age, after being diagnosed with epilepsy a few weeks ago.
As a child, Jade was wise beyond her years and a shining light to her family. She excelled in school, was very creative and loved to sew, paint, draw and make jewellery. Her talents knew no bounds.
Jade grew into a beautiful young woman who found joy in the simple things. She was a wonderful daughter and caring big sister. Jade was a huge Harry Potter fan and she loved watching re-runs of ‘Friends’. When she was 13, she developed a passion for baking and became known for her delicious pies and many other baked goods. This led her to make plans to pursue a post-secondary education in the Culinary Arts. Unfortunately, her recent diagnosis of Temporal Lobe Epilepsy altered her plans for her future.
Jade is lovingly remembered by her parents, Jennifer and Gairod Begg; siblings, Kadance, Cole, Hayden, Sage and Ryder; grandparents, Denise and Douglas Cottrell and Lorna and Durno Begg. She is also survived by great grandparents, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jade was taken too soon from all of us and she will be lovingly remembered by everyone who knew her.
A Celebration of Jade’s Life will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Town & Country Centre, 103 – 275 Jensen Drive N.E., Airdrie, Alberta.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Epilepsy Association of Calgary, www.epilepsycalgary.com, 316 – 4014 MacLeod Trail SE, Calgary, AB T2G 2R7.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Jade Elizabeth Begg February 11th 2020..
