‘Jackie’ – Age 61 of
L’Ardoise, Richmond Co. It is with broken hearts that we
announce that our dear sister Jackie passed away peacefully at home on
Wednesday, April 29, 2020.
She was the oldest daughter of the late Joe Jim and Blanche
(Mombourquette) Martell. She is survived by her siblings, Austin
(Margaret), Fraser (Debbie), Angus (Bernadette), Jerry (Cindy),
Pauline (Trevor), Tommy, Colleen (Michael), Maureen (Peter). Also
mourning her loss are her nieces and nephews who were like her own
children and she loved each of them dearly. Brandy (Cory), Jennifer
(Troy), Ashley (Danny), Megan (Tyler), Mary-Jayne, Brian, Brent
(Kate), Brittany (Steve), Evan (Dana), Holly (Paul), Trent, Brenna
(Jonny), Zachary and Katelyn; great-niece, Lilly and great-nephews,
Ben and Cayden. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her niece,
Kelsie.
Jackie loved when family was around filling her house. She
complained every year about making Christmas dinner, but yet every
year she had that turkey cooked and on the table. Jackie loved her
weekly cable Bingo and drives with her friend Hazel.
Donations in her memory may be made to the NS Heart and
Stroke Foundation or the CB Regional Hospital Cancer
Centre. Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Friday,
July 10, 2020 from Holy Guardian Angels Roman Cathoilc Church,
L’Ardoise. Burial will follow in the parish
cemetery.
