Jacob passed away on Monday, September 7, 2020 at the Windsor Regional Hospital – Metropolitan Campus at the age of 63.
He was born in Mexico and was the son of the late Helena and Jacob Schmitt.
Beloved husband of Eva Schmitt.
Loving father of Frank and Tina Schmitt, Helen and Wayne Hamm, Nelinora and Dave Quiring, Eva and Pete Reimer, Susie and Pete Redecop and Jacob and Eva Schmitt Jr.
Sadly missed by 17 grandchildren.
Fondly remembered by 3 sisters and 5 brothers.
Friends will be received on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at the Kendrick Funeral Home – Wheatley Celebration Centre, 17 Little Street South, Wheatley, ON (519-825-7741) from 6-9 p.m.
The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 11, 2020 at the New Reinland Mennonite Church, 1330 Mersea Road 6, Wheatley,ON at 2 p.m., with a private family burial in Fairview Cemetery.
