Jacob P Enns
It is with saddened hearts that the family would like to announce that Jacob (Jake) P Enns, age 76 of Fort Frances, Ontario passed away in the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital on July 24, 2020 due to complications arising from a stroke.
Jacob was born in Chihuahua, Mexico on the 22nd of November 1943.When Jacob was 10 years old he moved to Canada together with his family.
Jacob was a very talented man with many skills and when something was broke or needed fixing, you could always count on him to be able to fix it. Over the years he worked a number of trades from automotive mechanics to logging and carpentry. Jacob loved picking blueberries and there wasn’t a year that went by that he didn’t go. He knew where the best berries were and he always had his pails filled before anyone else. Even though Jacob struggled in areas of his life, he never lost his faith in Christ and he raised his children to be honest God fearing people.
Jacob was predeceased by his father Jacob F Enns, his mother Maria (Peters) Enns, 1 sister and 2 brothers.
He leaves behind 2 sisters, Margaret and Eva and 5 brothers, Isaac, Peter, John, Neil and David as well as 5 children, Jake, John, Susan, Andy and Rachel plus numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be missed. May you rest in the arms of the Savior.
Due to Covid-19 the Funeral service will be announced at a later date
