Ella Jacqueline Hare RN BN, wife of Chris Hare passed away peacefully at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on August 30, 2020 at the age of 54 with family and friends by her side.
Born in Newcastle, NB on October 14 1965 to Eugene Estey and Judy Murdock. Jackie was raised in Chatham by her parents Harold and Judy Sargent.
Besides her husband and best friend: Chris, Jackie is survived by: son: JR Burns of BC; daughter: Amy Burns (Justin) of Moncton; one grandchild: Ben Burns, the apple of her eye, of BC; two brothers: John Daryl Estey (Sally) of Alberta and Dougie Sargent (Laurie) of Miramichi; one sister: Sara Lyn Doyle (Jamie) of Miramichi, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Jackie was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother. She was loved by so many. Many described her over the 30+ years of nursing as giving great advice and always put others before herself. She always expressed her appreciation for her staff who made her feel loved throughout her brief illness.
Jackie loved being around others, she enjoyed vacationing down south with family and friends, shopping and being pampered (at chez Christopher’s), four wheeling, canoeing, jam sessions with her kids, close friends and family.
Jackie was an exceptional woman who will be missed by all!
Jackie was predeceased by her parents: Harold and Judy Sargent, father Eugene Estey, mother-in-law Margie Hare, grandparents and many aunts and uncles.
The family will receive visitors at Bell’s Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 from 7-9 PM and on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, Chatham Head, NB on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at 2 PM with Father Paul LeBlanc officiating.
Burial will follow in the Miramichi Cemetery.
