BURRILL, Jacqueline A. – age 71, of Yarmouth, NS, died peacefully on Tuesday October 27, 2020 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Toronto, Ontario she was the daughter of the late Patrick and May (Johns) Schofield. During her working years Jackie worked many different jobs that included working at the Metropolitan, Skillet in the Zellers mall, as a spinner at the cotton mill and working as a homecare worker for Pharmasave. During her leisure time Jackie enjoyed drawing and scrolling on Facebook to see what the latest news was. Jackie is survived by her beloved son, Terry, Yarmouth; daughter, Susan (Jim) Quinlan, Barrington Passage; grandchildren, Jessica, Chad, Regan and Tiffany; great grandchildren, Aurora and Owen; sisters-in-law, Karren Rhyno-Betts, Lynn Sisco and Sharon Ryan; brother-in-law, Kenny Burrill, as well as many brothers and sisters. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth, where visitation will take place from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2020. A funeral Mass will take place at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Yarmouth, at 2 p.m., Thursday, October 29 with interment to follow in Yarmouth Mountain Cemetery. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, seating may be limited at the funeral home and church and social distancing guidelines must be followed (immediate family will be given priority for seating). It has been requested that there be no cut flowers. Donations in memory may be made to the Yarmouth Food Bank, the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation.
