JOHN ANDREW COFFEY
April 12, 1945 January 17, 2020
John Coffey (Jack) passed away January 17, 2020 at Southlake Residential Care Village in Newmarket Ontario. He was predeceased by his parents, John Elmer Coffey 1983 and Mary Marguerite Coffey (Miller) 2008. Jack was born in Arthur ON and is survived by siblings Marilyn Sorochan, Newmarket ON, Marie and Rick Owen, Edmonton, AB, Rita and Wayne Ireland, Kelowna, BC, Mary Lou Coffey and Cam McCloud, Lively ON, Tom and Lai Fan Coffey, Prince George, BC, Terry Coffey, Elliot Lake, ON, James and Shirley Coffey Arthur, ON, Joseph Coffey, Orangeville, ON and by many nieces and nephews.
In 1973 Jack’s life was altered by a vehicle accident which robbed him of his independence. We are grateful for the wonderful support Jack enjoyed during his many years as a client of Community Living Guelph Wellington and Torchlight Industries Guelph. We are also grateful for the compassionate care he has received during the past four years at Southlake Residential Care Village in Newmarket.
Visitation at Crawford Funeral Home, Arthur on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Arthur ON at 11:00 am on Thursday January 23, 2020
Donations may be made in Jack’s memory to Community Living Guelph Wellington, 8 Royal Road Guelph, ON N1H 1G3
